What is 2morro?

“Real generosity toward the future lies in giving all to the present.” Albert Camus

2morro is a free festival of ideas, innovation, performance, music, and positive life stories by young people. This year it took place on London’s Southbank on 12 July 2010. The event was covered by Amplified using social media. To see what happened, click here

About 2morro2010

Share, explore and celebrate new possibilities for our world

The 2morro Festival is for under 25s interested in making a difference. 2morro showcases the best young entrepreneurs, artists, educators, campaigners, technologists, activists and creative talent in UK, featuring great talks and stories, debates and discussions, performance and poetry all delivered by 16-25 year olds. Much of our focus is on providing a platform for this to happen, in the hope that ideas will be generated and useful friendships and support networks will evolve.

This year we were supported by the Big Lottery Fund and the event featured a live pitching process in which we saw groups of young people with community driven innovative ideas awarded massive cheques!

To find out more about our plans and to get involved, subscribe to our blog, follow us on Twitter or become a Facebook Fan. We will be doing it again!
